PEACOCK. GARDEN CLUB
WHEREAS, the National Ardor Day Foundation has designated
the City of San Rafael as a Tree City USA; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael tales great pride in its urban
reforestation program; and
WHEREAS, the Peacock Garden Club is also dedicated
preserving and improving the quality of life in the City of San Rafael; and
,�WEXEAS, the Peacock Garden Club has
commitment by donating $200.00 to the City of San Rafae( and
demonstrated
WHEREAS, on March 4, 1994, members of the Peacock Garden
Club ri iff further show their commitment to the City of San Rafael by engaging in an
Arbor Day Tree Planting Project at Peacock Cap Parr, commemorating Arbor Day
Cefebration.
NO W, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RE,SOLVED that the City
Council of the City of San Rafael hereby expresses its sincere appreciation to the
Peacock Garden Club for its generous donation and its continuing efforts to make the
quality of fife better for the citizens of San Rafael.
