A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A CONTRACT, LEASE
OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The CITY MANAGER is authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of
San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
COUNTY OF MARIN FOR BOOKMOBILE
SERVICE IN THE CANAL AREA FOR
$3,350 FOR FY 93-94
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
Rmnn meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 4TH
day of OCTOBER ,1993 , by the following vote, to wit:

AGREEMENT FOR BOOKMOBILE SERVICES
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 4TH date
of OCTOBER , 1993 by and between THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and the COUNTY OF MARIN, a political
subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as
"COUNTY".
WITNESSETH
In consideration of the mutual promises as hereinafter
contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The COUNTY agrees to provide two one-hour stops each month
of Bookmobile services to the CITY from July 1, 1993 through June 30,
1994 at the Pickleweed Recreation Center.
2. The CITY agrees to pay the COUNTY the sum of THREE THOUSAND
THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY dollars ($3,350.00) for the rendering of
aforesaid services, to be paid as follows:
Payments shall be made quarterly and shall be payable to the
Marin County Free Library. Payments -shall be received no later than the
following dates and for the stated amounts:
July 15, 1993 $837.50
October 15, 1993 837.50
January 15, 1994 837.50
April 15, 1994 837.50
3. Neither party shall discriminate against any qualified
individual based on race, color, religion, nationality, sex, age or
disability.
4. Either party shall have the right to terminate this
agreement at any time upon giving the other party thirty (30) days
written notice prior to the effective date of the termination.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered into this
agreement the day and year first above written.
