A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING $70,000 EXPENDITURE FROM THE PARKLAND
DEDICATION FUND FOR ALBERT PARK
RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael owns and maintains city parks throughout the
community; and
WHEREAS, the Albert Park Renovation Committee has organized improvement
committees to help design and fundraise for the park improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the Marin Bocce Federation has committments of over $200,000 from
Marin Businesses and individuals; and
WHEREAS, the City Council designated the Parkland Dedication Fees paid by
Centertown project be allocated to the Albert Park Renovation Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council hereby
approves an allocation of $70,000 towards the completion of the Albert Park Renovation
Project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael on Mondav , the 4th
day of October ,1993, by the following vote, to wit:
