A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TWO REVOLVING FUNDS FOR
PICKLEWEED PARK COMMUNITY CENTER FOR PROGRAM
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FACILITY RENTAL FEE WAIVERS.
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael operates Pickleweed Park Community
Center offering programs, activities and rental opportundies for all interested
parties, and
WHEREAS, the Pickleweed Park Community Center Advisory Board and
the Park and Recreation Commission are interested in increasing access to the
programs and facilities for local residents and recognizes financial constraints
inhibit this access, and
WHEREAS, the Pickleweed Park Community Center Advisory Board and
the Park and Recreation Commission recommend two funds be established to
solicit and manage donations to allow scholarships and waiver of rental fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael does hereby establish two funds for Pickleweed Park Community
Center to manage funds to allow for program scholarships and waiver of rental
fees..
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
4th day of October ,1993, by the following vote, to wit:
