A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
DECLARING SURPLUS
(PEACOCK GAP IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT)
The City Council of the City of San Rafael resolves:
Section 1. Reference is made to the proceedings of
this Council forming the Peacock Gap Improvement District which
began with Resolution Determining to Undertake Proceedings
(Resolution No. 6735, adopted February 6, 1984) and leading to
the Resolution Providing for the Issuance of Bonds (Resolution
No. 6909, adopted August 20, 1984) and the issuance of the
Peacock Gap Improvement District Improvement Bonds on
September 4, 1984.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10427(c) of the
California Streets and Highways Code, the City Council hereby
declares that there exists a surplus in the City of San Rafael
Improvement Bonds, Peacock Gap Improvement District Improvement
Fund, established pursuant to Section 8 of Resolution No. 6909,
in the amount of $139,728.49, which amount is to be retained by
the City Treasurer exclusively for the maintenance of the
improvements described in our Resolution of Intention for the
Peacock Gap Improvement District (Resolution No. 6738, adopted
February 6, 1984).
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San
Rafael, California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City held on the 18th day of
October, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:
