A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
$33,000 FROM THE PARK AND RECREATION FACILITIES
FUND FOR THE RENOVATION OF PICKLEWEED PARK TURF
WHEREAS, the City Council granted the San Rafael Sanitation
District an easement to construct and maintain two pipelines through
Pickleweed Park; and
WHEREAS, the contractor for the District will be responsible to
restore only those areas that were physically damaged (approximately .6
acres); and
WHEREAS, the entirety of the turf area needs restoration; and
WHEREAS, a cost sharing proposal between the City and District
is appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the entire cost of restoration is $65,000; and
WHEREAS, the District and Contractor will provide $32,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby authorizes the expenditure of $33,000 from
the Park and Recreation Facilities Fund for the renovation of Pickleweed
Park Turf.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 1st day of
November, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:
