A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF A 1994 TWELVE PASSENGER VAN FROM BOB NOBLES CHEVROLET,
INC.
WHEREAS, in order to perpetuate a six -city cooperative
program utilizing San Quentin inmates for maintenance activities,
specifications were drawn and bids solicited to purchase a new
twelve passenger van to replace an older existing vehicle; and
WHEREAS, all six participating cities will share
equally in the funding for said new van, and
1993; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on August 6,
WHEREAS, the bid of Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. was the
lowest responsible bid received; and
WHEREAS, it is staff's recommendation that the bid of
Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase a new 1994
twelve passenger van from Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. for the price
of $19,174.16.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Tuesday, the 16th of August, 1993, by the following vote,
to wit:
