A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF A NEW 1994 MINI PICKUP TRUCK FROM BOB NOBLES CHEVROLET,
INC AND TWO NEW 1994 HALF TON PICKUP TRUCKS FROM SONNEN MOTORS.
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited
for three new pickup trucks to replace existing vehicles in various
city departments; and
1993; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on August 27,
WHEREAS, the bids of Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. and
Sonnen Motors were the lowest responsible bids received; and
WHEREAS, it is staff's recommendation that the bids of
Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. and Sonnen Motors be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase one new 1994
mini pickup truck from Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. for the price of
$9,058.34 and two new 1994 half ton pickup trucks from Sonnen
Motors for the price of $26,222.63 as set forth in their respective
bids.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Tuesday, the 7th of September, 1993, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Cohen, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
