A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING $5,000 EXPENDITURE FROM THE PARK &
RECREATION FACILITIES FUND FOR BRET HARTE PARK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael owns and maintains city parks throughout the
community; and
WHEREAS, the Bret Harte Neighborhood Association has organized
improvement committees to help design and fundraise for the park improvement
projects; and
WHEREAS, the Bret Harte Neighborhood Association has received $5,000 from
Marin Community Foundation and $5,000 from the County of Marin; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission recommends the City consider
allocating funds from the Park and Recreation Facilities Fund to match community
donations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council hereby
approves an allocation of $5,000 towards the completion of the Bret Harte Park
Improvement Project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCE TI, clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael on Tuesday , the 7th
day of September 11993, by the following vote, to wit:
