RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $22,678 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST AS
SAN RAFAEL' SHARE OF START-UP AND IMPLEMENTATION COSTS OF
THE INTEGRATED ON-LINE LIBRARY SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San Rafael Public
Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since the receipt of the Bequest in 1982 a portion of the
Bequest has been used to enhance library service; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that $22,678 be appropriated from the
Bequest to fund San Rafael's share of the start-up and implementation costs of
the integrated on-line library system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby appropriates $22,678 from the Davidson Bequest as San
Rafael's share of the start-up and implementation costs of the integrated on-line
library system.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said city held on Monday the
Sixth day of December 1993 by the following vote to wit:
