A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8851 ADOPTING AN EXPANSION
OF THE EARLY RETIREMENT PROGRAM AND THE PROGRAM'S
QUALIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael has
authorized extending an early retirement program which provides
for two additional years of service credit to particular job
classifications as specified in Resolution No. 8851;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael amends item one of the two conditions under
which this offer is made to read:
1. Employees must notify their department head and the City
Manager of their intent to avail themselves of the early
retirement program no later than June 30, 1993.
2. Employees must select a retirement date which is
implemented and in effect between March 16 and June 30,
1993.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday, the twenty-first day of June, 1993 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Cohen, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
