A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE NEW DUMP TRUCKS FROM BOB NOBLES
CHEVROLET, INC. AND THREE NEW PICKUP TRUCKS FROM HANSEL FORD
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Equipment
Replacement Program for 1992 - 93, specifications were drawn and
bids solicited for five new dump trucks and three new pickup trucks
to replace existing vehicles in various city departments; and
and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on June 18, 1993;
WHEREAS, the bids of Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. and
Hansel Ford were the lowest responsible bids received; and
WHEREAS, it is staff's recommendation that the bids of
Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. and Hansel Ford be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase five new dump
trucks from Bob Nobles Chevrolet, Inc. for the price of $122,367.13
and three new pickup trucks from Hansel Ford for the price of
$32,860.33 as set forth in their respective bids.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Tuesday, the 6th of July, 1993, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Cohen, Thayer & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Shippey
