A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 1992 DODGE DYNASTY FROM MARIN DODGE
AND A 1993 FORD TAURUS FROM HANSEL FORD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with duly authorized approval,
specifications were drawn and bids solicited for vehicles to
replace existing vehicles in the Recreation and Police Departments;
and
and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on April 6, 1993;
WHEREAS, the bids of Marin Dodge and Hansel Ford were the
best responsible bids received; and
WHEREAS, it is staff's recommendation that the bids of
Marin Dodge and Hansel Ford be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase a used 1992
Dodge Dynasty from Marin Dodge for the price of $11,314.87 and a
new 1993 Ford Taurus from Hansel Ford for the price of $13,639.00
as set forth in their respective bids.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council and said
City on Tuesday, the 3rd of May, 1993, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Boro,
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen
