PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF dPPRECIRTION
TO
PEACOCK GARDEN CLUB
`Y EREAS, the motional Ardor Day Foundation has designated
the City of San Rafael as a Tree City USA; and
ryWEREAJS the City of San Rafael takes great pride in its urban
reforestation program; and
WHEREAS, the Peacock Garden Club
preserving and improving the quality of life in the City of San Rafael and
ITWEREAS, on March 5, 1993, members of the Peacock Garden
Club will show their commitment to the City of San Rafael by engaging in an Arbor
Day Tree Planting Project at Bret Harte Park commemorating arbor Day
Celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY R,E,SOL`I IED that the City
Council of the City of San Rafael hereby expresses its sincere appreciation to the
Peacock, Garden Club for its continuing efforts in endeavoring to make the quality of
fife better for the citizens of San Rafael
