A RESOLUTION ORDERING CLOSING, ABANDONING AND
VACATING PORTION OF STORM DRAIN EASEMENT -
NORTHGATE ONE SHOPPING i r,.m, SAN RAFAEL
wrir,xzAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 1st day of February,
1993, adopted Resolution No. 8816 entitled, "Resolution of Intention to Vacate Storm Drain
Easement - Northgate One Shopping Center, San Rafael, California", and
wrir,AS, said Resolution was posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael,
Californias, conspicuously posted notices of easement vacation as required by law; and

persons interested; and
WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that the following
described easement area is unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the following described easement area is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use;
2. That the following described easement area is hereby ordered closed,
abandoned and vacated;
3. That the easement area closed, abandoned and vacated is described on
Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City on Monday, the 1st day of March, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:

Drainage Easement to be Abandoned
All that certain real property situated in the City of San
Rafael, County of 'Marin,, State of California described as
follows:
A portion of that certain 10 foot wide Drainage Easement shown
on that certain map, entitled "Map of Northgate Shopping Center,"
on file in the office of the Marin County Recorder in Book 10 of
Maps at page 56, beings more,particuiarly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the courses shown as "South
57017100" East 362.13 feet " and " S 55-037100" East 405.82 feet"
on the southerly boundary of Manuel T. Freitas Parkway as shown
on said Map of Northgate Shopping; thence. -along said southerly
boundary South 55037100" East 108.57 feet to the northwesterly
corner of Northgate Drive as shown on that certain map or plat.
entitled "Map of Oorthgate Drive" filed in the office of the
Marin County Recorder on December 3, 1962 in Book 11 of Maps at
page 53; thence along the westerly boundary of said Northgate
Drive along a curve concave to the southwest, tangent to the
preceding course, having a radius of 30.00 feet through a
central angle. of 190000100" an arc distance of 47.12 feet to a
point of reverse curvature; thence along a tangent curve concave
to the east having a radius of 400.00 feet through a central
angle of 301212911•1 an arc distance of .22.40 feet to the True
Point of Beginning of the land hereinafter described; said point
being on the northerly line of said 10 foot wide Drainage
Easement; thence along said curve through a central angle of
102711711 an arc distance of 10.16 feet to a point on the
southerly line of ! said 10 foot wide Drainage Easement; thence
