A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ACCEPTING GRANT DEED FOR STREET
RIGHT OF WAY - NORTHGATE ONE SHOPPING CENTER
(AP# 175-321-31)
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, necessity and welfare
require that the real property hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used for the
benefit of the public of the City of San Rafael, California.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, California, does hereby accept that certain deed from Northgate
Properties, dated August 20, 1991, for and on behalf of the City of San Rafael and
the real property described therein, all as more particularly described and set
forth in the attachment hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and the
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause said deed to be duly recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith
upon the adoption of this resolution.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 15th day of
March, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:

All that certain real property situated in the City of San
Rafael, County of Marin, State of California described as
follows;
A portion of the lands shown on that certain map entitled "Map
of Northgate Shopping Center", on file in the office of the
Marin County Recorder in Book 10 of Maps at page 56, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the courses shown as "South
570 17' 00" East 362.13 feet" and "South 550 37' 00" East 405.82
feet" on the southerly boundary of Manuel T.* Freitas Parkway as
shown on said Map of Northgate Shopping Center; thence along
said southerly boundary South 550 37' 00" East 108.57 feet to
the northwesterly corner of Northgate Drive as shown on that
certain map or plat entitled "Map of Northgate Drive", filed in
the office of the Marin County Recorder on December 3. 1962 in
Book 11 of Maps at page 53; thence along the westerly boundary
of said Northgate Drive along a curve concave to the southwest,
tangent to the preceding course, having a radius of 30.00 feet
through a central angle of 900 00' 00" an arc distance of 47.12
feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence along a tangent
curve concave to the east having a radius of 400.01 feet through
a central angle of 10 03' 67" an arc distance of 7.44 feet to
the True Point of Beginning of the land hereinafter described;
thence continuing along said westerly boundary of Northgate
Drive along said 400.01 foot radius curve through a central
angle of 190 21' 12" an are distance of 135.12 feet; thence
leaving said westerly boundary of Northgate Drive on a
non—tangent curve concave to the southwest having a radius of
11.50 feet; thence along said curve from a tangent bearing North
160 08' 04" West through a central angle of 580 24' 56" an are
distance of 11.72 feet to the end of said curve; thence North
740 33' 00" West 8.16 feet; thence North 15027' 00" East 41.62
feet; thence South 740 33' 00" East 2.96 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave to the northwest having a radius of
10.00 feet; thence along said curve through a central angle of
830 34' 30" an arc distance of 14.59 feet to a point of reverse
curvature; thence northerly along a curve concave to the
southeast having a radius of 407.50 feet through a central angle
of 50 15' 40" an arc distance of 37.42 feet to a point of
compound curvature; thence along a curve concave to the
southeast having a radius of 79.50 feet through a central angle
of 210 02' 29" an are distance of 29.20 feet to a point of
reverse curvature; thence along a curve concave to the northwest
having a radius of 115.50 feet through a central angle of 70 33'
00" an arc distance of 15.22 feet to said True Point of
1330 square feet, more or less.
