A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO FIVE -PASSENGER MINI -VANS
FROM JOE SIO CHEVROLET
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Equipment
Replacement Program for 1992-93, specifications were drawn and bids
solicited for two, new five -passenger mini -vans for the Police Department;
and
1992; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on December 8,
WHEREAS, the bid of Joe Sio Chevrolet of Albany, CA, was the
lowest responsible bid received; and
WHEREAS, it is staffs recommendation that the bid of Joe Sio
Chevrolet, be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase two new 1993 five -
passenger mini vans from Joe Sio Chevrolet for the price of $29,946.62, as
set forth in their bid dated December 7, 1992.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 4th
day of January, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
