A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A SEVEN PASSENGER MINI -VAN FROM HANSEL
FORD
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Equipment
Replacement Program for 1992-93, specifications were drawn and bids
solicited for a new seven passenger mini --van for the Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on December 1,
1992; and
WHEREAS, the bid of Hansel Ford of Santa Rosa, CA, was
the lowest responsible bid received; and
WHEREAS, it is staff's recommendation that the bid of
Hansel Ford be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase a new 1993
seven passenger mini -van from Hansel Ford for the price of
$16,331.76 as set forth in their bid dated December 1, 1992.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Tuesday, the 19th day of January, 1993, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Shippey, Thayer & Vice -Mayor Breiner
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen & Mayor Boro
