A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT DEED
FOR CONVEYANCE OF EIGHT OPEN SPACE PARCELS IN
THE SUN VALLEY AREA TO THE MARIN COUNTY OPEN
SPACE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, in accordance with that certain agreement between the
City of San Rafael, the County of Marin and the Marin County Open Space District,
approved by the San Rafael City Council on August 5, 1991 and dated August 20,
1991, title to the following lands was to be transferred to the Marin County Open
Space District:
A.P.N. 010-011-07, 18, 35, 46 & 57 and 010-041-42 and
A.P.N. 177-240-23 & 24.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute that
certain Grant Deed, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for the
conveyance of the above described parcels to the Marin County Open Space
District as provided in the agreement between the City, the County and the Open
Space District.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 16th day of
November, 1992, by the following vote, to wit:

MARIN COUNTY OPEN SPACE DISTRICT, a public district, who acquired title as,
MARIN COUNTY OPEN SPACE DISTRICT, a political subdivision of the State of California,
hereby GRANT(S) to

the real property in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, described as I
follows:
All those rights, title and interest as described in that certain Grant Deed filed for record on March
3, 1986, Serial No. 86010927, Marin County Official Records; and
All those rights, title and interest as described in that certain Grant Deed filed for record on March
3, 1986, Serial No. 86010929, Marin County Official Records; and
All those rights, title and interest as described in that certain Grant Deed filed for record on A41-!trch
6, 1986, Serial No. 86011756, Marin County Official Records; and
All those rights, title and interest as described in that certain Grant Deed filed for record on July
8, 1986, Serial No. 86035074, Marin County Official Records.

RESOLUTION NO. 93-01
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
GRANT DEED TO CORRECT AND ACCEPT TITLE
FOR LANDS HELD BY
MARIN COUNTY OPEN- SPACE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the MARIN COUNTY OPEN SPACE DISRICT, entered
into an agreement dated August 20, 1991 with the City of San Rafael and the County of
Marin, acting on behalf of County Service Area No. 23, to transfer certain Open Space
properties from joint ownership to the sole ownership of the Marin County Open Space
District; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the manner in which the District
holds its interest in said lands is in error and should be corrected during the transfer of
ownership; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that conveyance of certain lands from
joint ownership to sole ownership as identified in said agreement is beneficial to the needs
of the District; and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended the conveyance and acceptance of certain
property, by Grant Deed, to correct title and transfer sole ownership to MARIN
COUNTY OPEN SPACE DISTRICT, a public district for open space purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Public
Resources Code §5540 that the President of this Board of Directors is hereby authorized to
grant and convey said deed for the MARIN COUNTY OPEN SPACE DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the real
interest conveyed by the GRANT DEED dated November 16, 1992 from CITY OF SAN
R.AFAEL, a municipal corporation; and MARIN COUNTY OPEN SPACE
VJSTRICT, a public district; who acquired title as MARIN COUNTY OPEN
PACE DISTRICT, a political subdivision of the State of California, to the MARIN
COUNTY OPEN SPACE DISTRICT, a public district, is hereby accepted by order
of the Board of Directors of the Marin County Open Space District and the grantee consents
to the recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of
the Marin County Open Space District this 4r44- day of ��Ah»w� 1993,
by the following vote:
