CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOUITION OF 11PPRECIdTION
TO
RICHARD R LNDY
WHEREAS, Dick, has been an employee of the City of San 9rfaef
for 31 years, and
WHEREAS, Dick, has served in a number of positions during his
employment, the latest being Superintendant of PubCu Works; and
%WET,E iS, Dick, has spent many, many hours in the field making
sure that our facilities were operating property and that our community was cared
for, especially during storms and high tides; and
WHEREAS, Dick by his exampfe, is responsible for establishing a
standard of exceffence and responsibility in his division; and
WHEREAS, he has always been forthright and 'up front" in his
opinions about 'how things should be ; and
ryU 1ERE lS, his extreme dedication to his workhas made the City of
San Rafael a good and safe place to five, and was honored for his hard work and
dedication by being named Employee of the Year for 1986; and
WHEREAS, they broke the mold after Dick, was made.
NpW, THEREFORE, I7 IS HEREBY PT,SOL'NLD that the City
Council of the City of San R,afaef wishes to express its thanks and sincere
appreciation to Dick Lndy for a job well done, and wishes him the very best for a
long and relaxed retirement and hours of pleasure on the golf course.
