A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
TO MAKE APPLICATION AND EXECUTE PERMIT TO B.C.D.C..
FOR SHORELINE PARK IMPROVEMENTS - PARCEL "A" (BAY -
POINT LAGOON PHASE ONE)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael (hereinafter "City") must obtain
permits for construction from the San Francisco Bay Conservation and
Development Commission (hereinafter BCDC) for projects within the jurisdiction
of BCDC; and
WHEREAS, BCDC requires that the City designate a representative to
act on behalf of the City to bind the City to any requirements imposed by BCDC;
and
WHEREAS, the City is making application to BCDC for the necessary
permit to construct improvements for a Shoreline Park within BCDC's jurisdiction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael does hereby authorize the Director of Public Works to act as the City
representative in obtaining the required BCDC permit for construction of the
Shoreline Park.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 1st day of
June, 1992, by the following vote, to wit:
