RESOLUTION NO. 8682
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOWHION OF 11PPRECETION
TO
TOM ROSSETER
WHEREAS, on April 2, 1992, Birgitta Akesson of 615 Woodbine
Drive and Tom Rosseter of 80 Lucas Park Road, both citizens of
San Rafael, initiated Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation which later
proved to be responsible for saving the life of another resident;
and
WHEREAS, when coming upon a crowd of people gathered around a
vehicle off the side of the road, observed the occupant of said
vehicle in need of assistance; and
WHEREAS, upon investigation Birgitta Akesson and Tom Rosseter
determined that the driver of the vehicle was in need of im-
mediate life saving assistance; and
WHEREAS, Birgitta Akesson and
Pulmonary Resuscitation until
Department personnel; and
Tom Rosseter initiated Cardio
the arrival of San Rafael Fire
WHEREAS; their efforts were responsible for saving the life of
Joseph P. Ferriter, Jr.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the San Rafael City Council
appreciates, honors and thanks Tom Rosseter for his heroic life
saving action.
