A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 8504 TO INCREASE THE
SALARY RANGE FOR THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER
JOB CLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael has completed a com-
pensation study of the Traffic Engineer job classification; and
WHEREAS, The compensation study indicates that the City
of San Rafael's salary range for this job classification is not
competitive within its survey cities; and
WHEREAS, It has been determined that the current salary
range is low and this has had an adverse affect on recruitment.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael that the salary range for Traffic Engineer shall be
changed:
From: $3768.94 - 4353.55 per month
To: $4121.21 - $4871.32 per month
