RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING FOUNDATIONS
DURING FEBRUARY AND MARCH, 1992 TO SUPPORT THE ONGOING
EDUCATIONAL AND EXHIBITION PROGRAMS OF FALKIRK CULTURAL
CENTER:
FLEISHHACKER FOUNDATION, LEF FOUNDATION, IRA HITI FOUNDATION,
LANNAN FOUNDATION, KORET FOUNDATION, ESPRIT DE CORP,
CALIFORNIA ART COUNCIL, MARIN YOUTH COMMISSION AND MARIN ART
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the aforementioned foundations, government agencies and
corporations grant funding to arts and humanities organizations for exhibitions and
educational support; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides a rich and varied program of
exhibitions and educational programs for our diverse cultural community; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center staff wishes to apply to the aforementioned
organizations for support for ongoing exhibitions and educational programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby authorizes staff at the Falkirk Cultural Center to apply to the
aformentioned organizations for grant support for exhibitions and educational programs.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
Regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Mondav the 3rd day of
February , 1992, by the following vote to wit:
