RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING FOUNDATIONS DURING
AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER, 1992 TO SUPPORT THE ONGOING EDUCATIONAL
AND EXHIBITION PROGRAMS OF FALKIRK CULTURAL CENTER:
METROPOLITAN LIFE, FIREMAN'S FUND, LANNON FOUNDATION, BERNARD
OSHER FOUNDATION, THE GEORGE GUND FOUNDATION, MARIN CHARITABLE
FOUNDATION, ELKS CLUB, AND WESTAMERICA BANK.
WHEREAS, the aforementioned foundations, government agencies and corporations
grant funding to arts and humanities organizations for exhibitions and educational support;
and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides a rich and varied program of
exhibitions and educational programs for our diverse cultural community; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center staff wishes to apply to the aforementioned
organizations for support for ongoing programs and operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby authorizes staff at the Falkirk Cultural Center to apply to the aforementioned
organizations for grant support for programs and operations.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a Reaular meeting
of the City Council of said City held on Mondav the 17th day of Au ust, 1992 by the
following vote to wit:
