PRESENTS THIS
RESUhUTION OF dPPRECIdTION
TO
SANG KIM, SEVEN -ELEVEN STORE
WHEREAS, in the spirit of service to the community, Sang Kim, a
local businessman has always supported and cooperated with the
San Rafael Police Department and its enforcement endeavors in the
Canal neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, since October 1991, the San Rafael Police Department
has maintained a temporary office, a construction trailer, in the
Canal neighborhood for the use of Its officers to further their
presence in the neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Sang Kim has permitted the San Rafael Police
Department to place this temporary office on his business property
since October 1991, without any cost to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of San Rafael, on behalf of all its citizens, especially those
living in the Canal neighborhood, hereby express sincere
appreciation and gratitude to Sang Kim for allowing this usage of
his property by the City.
