RESOLUTION NO. 8348
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
PEACOCK GARDEN CLUB
WHEREAS, the 9Vgtional Ardor Day Foundation has designated
the City of San Rafael as a Tree City USA; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael takes great pride in its urban
reforestation program; and
WHEREAS, the Peacock Garden Club is also dedicated to
preserving and improving the quality of fife in the City of San Rgfaef and
WHEREAS, on March 8, 1991, members of the Peacock Garden
Club will show their commitment to the City of San Rafael by engaging in an Arbor
Day Tree Planting Project at Fafkirk Cultural Center commemorating Arbor Day
Celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of San Rafael, hereby expresses its sincere appreciation to the
Peacock Garden Club for its continuing efforts in endeavoring to mala the quality of
fife better for the citizens of San Rafael:
