A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING A $5,400 CONTRACT WITH TOWILL, INC
TO COMPLETE PREPARATION OF DRAFT ZONING MAPS
WHEREAS, funds are budgeted this fiscal year for completion of a draft zoning
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Towill, Inc. has prepared the City's parcel base map and a subsequent dra:
Citywide Zoning Map at a scale of 1"=500'(5-1/2 X 6-1 /2' in size); and
WHEREAS, easily reproducible zoning maps are important for the public hearing
phase for zoning map distribution; and
WHEREAS, 11X17" maps covering 20 City neighborhoods will provide a usable formi
for extensive zoning map distribution; and
WHEREAS, these maps and a 1:4000' remainder map can easily be provided from
Towill's existing digitized data base for a cost of $5,400.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council hereby approves an agreemez
with Towill, Inc. to prepare 11X17" draft Zoning Maps for 20 City neighborhoods and,
remainder map as further described in Exhibit A.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 1st of April, 1991, by the following
vote, to wit:

Ladies and Gentlemen:
In response to your request, we submit the following proposal to perform
services on subject project.
SCOPE OF WORK
Under previous contracts we have created a zoning map at 1"=500' scale for
the city of San Rafael using an AutoCAD computer graphics system and
assessor's map information and our base map data for the city. Utilizing
this digital zoning map data we will format the data into 20 mylar sheets
each 11" X 17" as directed by the city. The same data structure, scale,
pen weights, and colors will be used for there formatting. The legend
describing the zone labels will be plotted as a separate sheet.
ITEMS OF DELIVERY
1. One (1) set of twenty (20) 11" X 17" mylar zone maps in color at 1"=5001.
2. One (1) 11" X 17" mylar zone label legend.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE
All work will be completed within 30 days from our notice -to -proceed.
FEE SCHEDULE
The above defined tasks will be performed for a lump sum fee of $4950.00.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
In response to your request, we submit the following proposal to perform
services on subject project.
SCOPE OF WORK
Under previous contracts we have created a zoning map at 1"=500' scale for
the city of San Rafael using an AutoCAD computer graphics system and
assessor's map information and our base map data for the city. Utilizing
this digital zoning map data we will format the data into a single mylar
map sheet 11" X 17" at a scale of 1"=4000'. The same data structure, pen
weights, and colors will be used for there formatting. The open space
areas that are outside the coverage of the zone map series of 20 sheets
will be highlighted on this overall sheet.

I. One (1) 11" X 17" mylar zone map in color at 1"=40001.
