A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ACCEPTING GRANT DEED OF REAL PROPER-
TY FROM TISHMAN art i t.. MEDIQ MARIN LIMITED PART-
NERSHIP - 1550 SILVEIRA PARKWAY (SKILLED NURSING
FACILITY) (SMITH RANCH HOMES DEVELOPMENT)
WHEREAS, on February 12, 1991, the San Rafael Planning Commission
approved a project for a skilled nursing facility at 1550 Silveira Parkway; and
WHEREAS, said facility is an integral part of the Smith Ranch Homes
Development; and
WHEREAS, as part of said Commission's project review, a realignment of the
property line between the project parcel and adjacent open space lands was approved;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed lot line adjustment provides for a more efficient
parking plan, a greater building setback from Silveira Parkway, and more outdoor amenity
area; and
WHEREAS, said adjustment will not cause any substantial change to the
character of adjoining City open space; and
WHEREAS, there will be no net loss of open space to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael does hereby accept that certain Grant Deed from Tishman Speyer
Mediq Marin Limited Partnership for and on behalf of the City of San Rafael, all as more
particularly described and set forth in the attachment hereto, and incorporated herein by
reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
said deed to be duly recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Marin
forthwith upon the adoption of this resolution.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 6th day of May, 1991, by the following
