HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 8384 (Smith Ranch Homes)RESOLUTION NO. 8 3 8 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT DEED FOR CONVEYANCE OF OPEN SPACE LAND TO TISHMAN bre i rst MED19 MARIN LIMITED PARTNERSHIP - 1550 SILVEIRA PARKWAY (SKILLED NURSING FACILITY) (SMITH RANCH HOMES DEVELOPMENT) WHEREAS, on February 12, 1991, the San Rafael Planning Commission approved a project for a skilled nursing facility at 1550 Silveira Parkway; and WHEREAS, said facility is an integral part of the Smith Ranch Homes Development; and WHEREAS, as part of said Commission's project review, a realignment of the property line between the project parcel and adjacent open space lands was approved; and WHEREAS, the proposed lot line adjustment provides for a more efficient parking plan, a greater building setback from Silveira Parkway, and more outdoor amenity area; and WHEREAS, said adjustment will not cause any substantial change to the character of adjoining City open space; and WHEREAS, there will be no net loss of open space to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the Grant Deed, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference, for conveyance of open space land to Tishman Speyer Mediq Marin Limited Partnership. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed to be duly recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Marin forthwith upon the adoption of this resolution.
