RESOLUTION NO. 8417
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF ONE AERIAL LADDER TRUCK FOR USE BY FIRE DEPT.
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized purchase of
one aerial ladder truck for use by the Fire Dept.
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for
one aerial ladder truck
WHEREAS; bids have been received by the General Services
Department staff; and
WHEREAS; Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., is the low responsible
bidder
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken:
Authorize the purchase of one 105 foot, (500 lb.) tip
load aerial ladder from the Pierce Mfg. Co. Inc., for
the amount of $438,349.22
I, Jeanne M. Leoncini, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday ., the 3rd day of June, 1991 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Shippey, Thayer & Vice -Mayor Breiner
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Mayor Mulryan
