RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 08117 TO AUTHORIZE
ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE OF $24,100. FROM THE PARK &
RECREATION FACILITIES FUND FOR TWO CITY PLAYGROUNDS
(GERSTLE AND VICTOR JONES)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on February 5,
1990 adopted Resolution 8117 appropriating $27,600. from the Park &
Recreation Facilities Fund for two City playgrounds (Gerstle and Victor
Jones); and
WHEREAS, both playground projects have now been completed; and
WHEREAS, the cost of each project increased due to various needs at
each site; and
WHEREAS each project is also funded by state grants and community
donations,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael approves an additional allocation of $24,100. to the Gerstle and
Victor Jones playground projects.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
Regular meeting of the City Council of said City, held on Monday the
17th day of June , 1991, by the following vote, to wit:
