A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ADOPTING THE LAND MANAGEMENT PLAN
FOR TERRA LINDA, SLEEPY HOLLOW AND SAN RAFAEL
RIDGE OPEN SPACE PRESERVE
WHEREAS, the preparation of a Land Management Plan has been in
process since late 1989, with the Draft Plan being completed by the Consultant,
Leonard Charles and Associates, in November 1990; and
WHEREAS, numerous community meetings and public hearings have
been held, and both the San Rafael Parks and Recreation Commission and the
Marin County Open Space and Cultural Commission have accepted the Plan and
have recommended its adoption; and
WHEREAS, an environmental assessment of said Plan has been made
and filed; and
WHEREAS, said Plan has been determined to be categorically exempt
pursuant to CEQA guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby adopts the Land Management Plan for Terra Linda, Sleepy
Hollow and San Rafael Ridge Open Space Preserve, dated March 1991, prepared
by Leonard Charles and Associates, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 17th day of June, 1991,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
