A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROVING CONTRIBUTION TOWARD FUNDING
FOR THE 101 CORRIDOR ACTION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, at its March 13, 1991 meeting, the 101 Corridor
Action Committee approved a $110,000 budget for Marin County
staff services, printing costs and mailing costs for support
of the committee during the 1991 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the 101 Corridor Action Committee approved a
50/50 split between Marin and Sonoma counties for funding the
$110,000, with the local jurisdictions in each county responsible
for contributing a total of $55,000; and
WHEREAS, the committee representatives from Marin County
and the eleven cities in the county agreed to divide up their
$55,000 share using a formula which represents the average
between the old 2106 gas tax subvention formula and the new
gas tax subvention formula established by Proposition 111;
and
WHEREAS, using this formula, San Rafael's share of the
program cost is 16.6% or $9,130.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council approves the contribution of $9,130 towards the shared
funding for the 101 Corridor Action Committee's program costs.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday, the seventeenth day
of June, 1991, by the following vote, to wit:
