A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as
follows:
The CITY MANAGER and CITY CLERK are authorized to
execute, on behalf of the City of San Rafael, a contract,
lease or agreement with
AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OF
MARIN FOR BOOKMOBILE
SERVICES
IN THE CANAL AREA
(FROM JULY
1, 1991 THROUGH JUNE
30, 1992
AT THE PICKLEWEED
RECREATION
CENTER IN THE AMOUNT
OF $3,285)
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference
made a part hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a REGULAR meeting
of the City Council of said City held on the FIFTEENTH
day of JULY , 1991 by the following vote to wit:

AGREEMENT FOR BOOKMOBILE 7ERVICES

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of
«usf 1991 by and between THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and the COUNTY OF MARIN, a politica:
subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as
"COUNTY".

in Consideration of the mutual promises as hereinafter
contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The COUNTY agrees to provide two one hour stops each month
of Bookmobile services to the CITY from July 1, 1991 through June 30,
1992 at the Pickleweed Recreation Center.
2. The CITY agrees to pay the COUNTY the sum of THREE THOUSAND
TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FIVE dollars ($3,285.) for the rendering of
aforesaid services, to be paid as follows:
Payments shall be made quarterly and shall be payable to the
Marin County Free Library. Payments shall be received no later than
the following dates and for the stated amounts:
July 150 1991 $821.25
October 15, 1991 821.25
January 15, 1992 821.25
April 15, 1992 821.25
3. Neither party shall discriminate against any individual
based on race, color, religion, nationality, sex, age or handicapped
condition.
4. Either party shall have the right to terminate this
agreement at any time upon giving the other party thirty (30) days'
written notice prior to the effective date of termination.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered into this
agreement the day and year first above written.
