RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL PERMITTING
THE USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT
THE MARIN GRAND BALL ON OCTOBER 5,
1991
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Municipal Code in Section 8.12.220(c)
permits the use of alcoholic beverages on public property upon
adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael owns and operates the parking
structure located on Third Street between Lootens and "A" Streets;
and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael owns and regulates Fourth
Street between "A" and Court Streets; and
WHEREAS, the use of these public properties may well be used
for the Marin Grand Ball sponsored by the Downtown Merchants
Association on October 5, 1991 at which alcoholic beverages may be
consumed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby permits the use of alcoholic beverages at
the Marin Grand Ball sponsored by the Downtown Merchants
Association on October 5, 1991 at the following public streets and
facilities:
1. The parking structure located on Third Street between Lootens
and "A" Streets; and
2. Fourth Street between "A" and Court Streets.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City
held on
Monday, the

1991,
by the
