RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL WAIVING FACILITY FEES
FOR THE SAN RAFAEL CANAL MINISTRY FOR MONTHLY
USE OF PICKLEWEED COMMUNITY CENTER AND PARK
(.FROM JULY 15.91 THROUGH. JUNE 1RR21
WHEREAS, the City Council has established a fee schedule for facility
rentals to recoup direct costs and maintenance expenses at city facilities;
and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Canal Ministry has requested and received a
fee waiver for the past two years for their regular monthly event; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission has reviewed the
request for a fee waiver extension for one year and recommends the City
Council consider approval; and
WHEREAS, the fee waiver is recommended to be considered for
twelve months but facility attendant costs be paid for the building use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of
San Rafael does hereby waive the regular building and park facility fees,
except facility attendant costs, for twelve months beginning July 1991 for
the San Rafael Canal Ministry for their monthly event.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday , the 5th day
of August , by the following vote, to wit:
