RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $17,000 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST
FOR REORGANIZATION OF LIBRARY INTERIOR
FISCAL YEAR 1991-92
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San Rafael Public
Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since receipt of the Bequest in 1982, a portion of the accrued
interest on the Bequest has been used to supplement the Library's budget, and to
enhance Library services; and
WHEREAS, the staff recommends appropriating $17,000 of interest on the
Davidson Bequest to purchase shelving and for other expenses related to the
reorganization of Library interior space.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby appropriates $17,000 of interest on the Davidson Bequest
to purchase shelving and for other expenses related to the reorganization of
Library interior space.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted ata Regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Tuesday
the Third day of September , 1991 by the following vote to wit:
