CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESUhUTION DF APPRECIATION
TO
BETH WINTERS
WHEREAS, Beth Winters has served the Marin Association of Public
Employees and represented City of San Rafael employees
faithfully for the last 13 years; and
WHEREAS, Beth worked tirelessly in the development of sound
Memorandums of Understanding (M.O.U.) and most recently
in the development of thorough and comprehensive M.O.U.s
for the Miscellaneous and Supervisory employee units; and
WHEREAS, Beth diligently worked to achieve fair and equitable
salaries, benefits and other working conditions for the
employees in the Marin Association of Public Employees;
and
WHEREAS, Beth demonstrated a strong sense of integrity and honesty
in her dealing with both the employees and the managers
of the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, Beth has accepted a career move and promotion as a Senior
Field Representative with the Service Employees
International Union, Local 715 in San Jose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael expresses sincere gratitude and appreciation
to Beth Winters for her efforts on behalf of City
employees and wishes her much success in her new
position.
