CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOWHIGN OF 11PPRECIRTION
SAN RAFAEL ROCK QUARRY
%WEREAS, the City of San Rafael; along with concerned citizens,
recognized a need for additionaf recreational facilities at Pickfeweed Park, and
WHEREAS, there were no funds available to construct a
basketbaff court estimated to cost $35,000.00, and
WHEREAS, San Rafael Rock Quarry was asked to contribute 185
tons of base rock and 60 tons of asphaft; and
WHE2,EAS, San Rafaef ick Qyarry enthusiastically agreed to
supply these materials at no cost to the residents of San Rafael.
NO'W, THEREFORE, I7 IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of San Rafael, herebygratefuffy acknowledges the contribution of
SAN RAFAEL ROCK QUARky and their continuing efforts to make the quality
of fife better for the residents of San Rafael:
