W91EREAS, the City of San 9?gfaef, along with concerned citizens,
recognized a need for additional recreational facilities at Pickkweed Park- and
%WEREAS, there were no funds available to construct a
basketball court estimated to cost $35,000.00, and
W)J'IEREAS, Mr. Lee Nqbman, President of Golden State Lumber
Company, agreed to supply the timber headers to establish the boundaries of the
basketball court at no cost to the residents of San Rafael.
