RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY TO THE MARIN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
FOR AN ARTS AND HUMANITIES GRANT TO SUPPORT FALKIRK
EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, Marin Community Foundation grants funding to arts and humanities
organizations for exhibition and educational support; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides a rich and varied program of
contemporary exhibitions and educational programs for our diverse cultural community;
and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center staff wishes to apply to the Marin
Community Foundation for an Arts and Humanities grant to support exhibitions and
educational programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby authorizes staff at the Falkirk Cultural Center to apply to the Marin
Community Foundation for an Arts and Humanities Grant to support exhibitions and
educational programs.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
Reaular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Mondav the 2nd day of
December. 1991, by the following vote to wit:
