A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ESTABLISHING AN ADVISORY CONMU I-1 t h
FOR THE PREPARATION OF HILLSIDE DESIGN STANDARDS
The City Council of the City of San Rafael finds and determines that:
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael General Plan 2000 requires the
preparation of hillside site design standards; and
WHEREAS, on September 17 the City Council approved a work program
for the preparation of the subject design standards and also approved the forma-
tion of an advisory committee to provide technical and public input; and
WHEREAS, City staff requested that the Bret Harte, Dominican, Montecito,
Fairhills, Loch Lomond, West End, and North San Rafael Coalition neighborhood
associations and the local chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects,
the American Institute of Architects, and the California Chapter of Civil Engineers
and Land Surveyors submit names for the Council's consideration and approval;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and approved the proposed com-
mittee membership.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby appoints
the following members to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Preparation of
Hillside Site Design Standards:
Bret Harte: Frank Sangimino
Dominican/Black Canyon: Kathleen Devlin
Fairhills: Sandy Imlay
Mary Ellen Irwin (alternates)
Loch Lomond: Marianne Shaw
Montecito: Jeff Mulanax
North San Rafael Coalition: Dorothy Skufca
Greg Brockbank (alternate)
West End: Harry Winters
Civil Engineer: Lee Oberkamper
Soils Engineer: Gene Miller
Architect: Bill Kelly
Landscape Architect: Peter Wray
Design Review Board: Richard Olmsted
Planning Commission: Linda Bellatorre
City Council: Joan Thayer
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meet-
ing of the Council of said City on Monday, the 19th day of November, 1990 by the
following vote, to wit:
