A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE FUNDING OF THE SUN VALLEY
TRAIL FROM BEDROOM TAX FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Marin County Open Space District is currently
scheduling the construction of a trail in the Sun Valley Open Space; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of this project is estimated at $12,000 which
will be split equally between the City and the County of Marin; and
funds.
WHEREAS, this project is an appropriate use of existing Bedroom Tax
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael authorizes allocation of $6,000 from bedroom tax funds for the
purpose of providing the City share of the Sun Valley Trail construction.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 17th day of
December, 1990 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Shippey, Thayer & Vice -Mayor Breiner
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Mayor Mulryan
