RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO
APPLY FOR STATE -LOCAL PARTNERSHIP PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the passage of Proposition 111 and Senate Bill 300 has extended
the State -Local Partnership Program on a continuing basis; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has projects that may qualify under this
program; and
WHEREAS, this Program provides the opportunity for the City to acquire
partial funding for transportation improvement projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
hereby resolves to authorize staff to seek the necessary funding and to designate the
Director of Public Works as the authorized signatory to apply for said funds.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Tuesday, the 4th day of September, 1990, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Thayer & Vice -Mayor Breiner
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Shippey & Mayor Mulryan
