A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
EDUCATION FOR $6,000
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is eligible to apply for
State Department of Education Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Education has designated
$712,185 for planning grants to be administered under the State
Child Development Division; and
WHEREAS, the State Child Development Division has re-
quested applications for Child Care planning grants of $6,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council hereby authorizes application for said grant funds for
1989/90.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on TUESDAY , the 16TH day of JANUARY , 1990, by the
following vote, to wit:
