A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN
AN EXTENSION TO A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR CITY OWNED
STORAGE SPACE UNDER THE EAST RAMP OF THE LOOTENS
STREET PARKING STRUCTURE.
(FOR $75 PER MONTH FOR A PERIOD OF 2 YEARS)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has title to property
improved with a two-level parking structure located at
Lootens and Third Streets; and
WHEREAS, this structure contains two small storage
compartments with impaired headroom; and
WHEREAS, the Nine -O -Nine Food Company has requested
the rental of one of those compartments in connection with
the operation of its business at 909 Fourth Street; and
WHEREAS, the City has no known need for these compart-
ments; and
WHEREAS, the City will not be obliged to make any lease-
hold improvements to make these compartments usable.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council authorizes the City Manager to execute an extension
of an existing lease with Nine -O -Nine Foods for $75 per
month for a period of two more years.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council of said City on Monday , the 5th
day of February 1990, by the following vote, to
wit.
