A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING $27,600 EXPENDITURE
FROM THE PARK & RECREATION FACILITIES FUND FOR
TWO CITY PLAYGROUNDS.
(GERSTLE & VICTOR JONES)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael owns and maintains
city parks throughout the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael received State grant
funds to improve six playgrounds city-wide; and
WHEREAS, the community has organized playground
improvement committees to help design and fundraise for the
projects; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission recommends
the City consider allocating funds from the Park and Recreation
Facilities Fund to match community donations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael
City Council hereby approves allocation of $27,600 towards the
completion of two city park playground projects, Gerstle & Victor Jones.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of San Rafael on Monday , the 5th day
Of February , 1990, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
