A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
ONE LOT OF DEFIBRILLATORS, ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT
AND TRAINING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized implementation of the Defi-
brillation Program by the San Rafael Fire Department and;
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for the Defibrillators,
and Ancillary Equipment and Training Services and;
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the General Services Department staff;
and;
WHEREAS, Laerdal Medical Corp., is the lowest responsible bidder that meets
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that the
following action be taken: Purchase from Laerdal Medical Corp., 9 each Laerdal Semi -
Automatic Defibrillators; 3 each CPR/First Responder Training Manikins; 1 each Cardiac
Rhythm Simulators with Monitor/Interface; 2 each Memory Device Reader; 2 each Tape
Reply Units, for a Lot Price of $60,627.71.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the forgoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City on Tuesday , the 20th day of February,
1990, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
