WHEREAS, Rusty

fluenced the creation of many new programs in the Fire Depart-
ment, especially the implementation of Paramedic Service, and
WHEREAS, Rusty was an ardent supporter of the
Departments, particularly the San Rafael Fire
he could always be found assisting at any type
or night, and

WHEREAS, Rusty's dedication to San Rafael extended well beyond
the Fire Department to many worthwhile projects in the community
from his dedication to youth sports to serving as Chairman of the
San Rafael Centennial Ball Committee, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby extends its appreciation to the memory of
Rusty Ghilotti for his dedication, devotion and service to his
beloved community.
